Austere was recorded in the fall of 2021 while I was deployed to support the recovery from hurricane Ida. I was staying in a camp for staff supporting the disaster efforts and recorded these tracks in my bunk room using a modular synthesizer that was small enough to fit in my backpack. All tracks were recorded live with no cuts or edits.
